KidsWork Children’s Museum

Fires can be very dangerous, so it’s important to do all you can to prevent them and to know what to do in case they occur. Our camp can help your children learn about fire safety.

Children will experience what it’s like to be a firefighter through demonstrations. They will be shown the various tools used and how each tool works. Children will also be shown and have the opportunity to try on firefighter’s gear.

911 Campers will be taught the proper way for calling in fire and medical emergencies by dialing 911.

TEAMWORK—Hose connecting and hose rolling drills show the importance of team work. These drills introduce campers to handling large hoses and the different techniques used. Relay teams will compete to roll hose with an emphasis on technique and not speed.
